Synopsis
TV series based on James Patterson’s Alex Cross novels
Alex Cross uses forensic psychology to analyze murderers' mind, immersion in the victim' psychics to identify the killers and bring them to justice. Aldis Hodge talks about starring in and producing crime drama ‘Cross’, making him known as an actor and producer, and his commitment to promoting diverse stories through his production work. Hodge is the third actor to portray Cross, following in the footsteps of Morgan Freeman, who first played him on screen in 1997 and #39; with Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 film sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the title character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which bombed at the box office and led Lionsgate to scrap a previously planned sequel to Double Cross.
It’s definitely something I knew I wanted to do and did
Although I’ve never read any source material from the James Patterson Books movie, I’ve still heard of Alex Cross long before the TV show was in production. a lot. Aldis Hodge is an up and coming and underrated actor and he absolutely kills it as Alex Cross.
He studies the victims to better understand who murdered them
The series follows Cross, who is a decorated DC homicide detective and forensic psychologist. Here he follows a serial killer with his partner John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa), who also has ties to his past. Besides being a detective, he’s also a family man, and he’s determined to be great at both.
Cross does it
The best thing about this show is that it is never boring. That’s the least you want from a show, to be invested in the story and never get bored. Your guide to all the new movies and shows streaming this month on Prime Video in the US.
