Synopsis

forgotten and a status quo social structure is established
This is an interesting take on the underground bunker story, about a people who survived so long underground that a civilization arose there, with traditions, myths, beliefs, rituals, and ceremonies that are rooted in events that were. And when the status quo of maintaining order is challenged, execution and punishment ensue.
Good acting from Oyelowo, with familiar faces in Rashida Jones and Will Patton
A power structure is formed, creating a stratified population, both figuratively and literally, from top to bottom of the silo. That’s the premise, and while it’s not entirely original (think Snowpiercer, Dark City, etc.), there’s a fair amount of novelty here and it seems well executed for a TV series.
There are elaborate sets and good CGI to create a believable atmosphere
(But as you can see from the show poster, there are guest stars who will make way for the series regular, with Rebecca Ferguson.) The show seems to be decent enough, with good production values. While some obvious conspiracies will quickly become apparent to a suspicious mind, there are mysteries that will keep me watching.
